My first attempt with remote triggers this morning...bit of a hoot actually.
I was mowing yesterday and noticed a Kingfisher visiting a nest that I thought it had left sometime ago so I decided to give my remote triggers a run.
Not as easy as I thought it would be. The sun was not quite behind me but the nest hole was just in shade. Tried flash but it didn't work (suspect operator error here).
Removed the flash and tried again with the biggest aperture and increased ISO to 1600 (to give me the highest shutter speed). The first problem was the delay when I pressed the remote and I hadn't had that problem when I first tried them. It's a case of being ready and predicting what the bird will do and when. Lots of photographs of the nest with no bird but they started to get more interesting and I might go back this afternoon when the sun will be on the nest..
Couldn't post this wthout a big Thanks to Miccro for his initial post.
The results......
Pretty good first results! I would be happy with that. Nice work.

Nice job Reflex, with a bit more practice you'll have some magnificent photos in no time.
I may have to look at remote triggers also.
Did you just get them on Ebay?
Yes I think they were about $56 and that will activate up to three flashes as well as trigger the camera.
Just put this into an eBay search:
