Some pics I took at the Bruny Island Bird Festival Oct 2010 (the first ever). It was AWESOME: highly, highly recommended. It's happening again - Oct 25-28 2012 (Note - not this year!).

Now the Fairy Prions. I hadn't seen these before and thought they were amazing to watch, 'walking' over the water. Weather got a bit gloomy by then, so pretty dark photos:
Nice shots. That Eagle looks like a White-bellied Sea Eagle due to the white tail but not sure. Great sighting regarding the Forty Spot and nice Prion pics. I have never seen a pelagic bird before.

Very nice. Bruny is a special place. We have visited several times but unfortunately not for the festival.
