Hi. I have often been called "The Bird Lady", as just about all my life, I've had birds around me. I have seen changes where I live due to loss of habitat, seen what thrives and what disappears. Apart from my own backyard which seems to invite larger species only, there is a local park by the river that teems with bird life, and I visit often to see what is happening there. I live in Brisbane. My camera isn't great, but I have it with me more often than not, just in case. Looking forward to "meeting" you all.
Welcome. I have a good camera but I am not a good photographer so we are even, rofl.
Any photo is better than none (as I keep telling myself) so feel free to share your birds with us.

Alison, in many cases, any photo is about as good as it gets, as some birds are very hard to "capture" with the camera. I do love seeing bird pics of any sort, especially ones of the sort I can't get.

Thank you :). Cropping helps show the bird better, so I take my pics full size so I have a bit to work with. If I zoom too much, I lose sharpness and clarity.
