Well, after my sighting of a black-shouldered kite this morning I decided to try again in a different spot. I found one hovering, and when it landed it was harrassed by a pied butcherbird

well you said you were going to get a picture and you did! great series, really tells a story, the second to last one he looks like he's taking a bow after defeating his harasser! what is the circle in the top right corner of some of the photos? is it the moon?

Hev I think the spot is a mark on my teleconversion lens. I'll have to take a better look by daylight
