I wondered why all the birds took off yesterday then i spotted it
It amazes me how they know because this kite was a long way up
yes i know these photos aren't the best but i had to crop them big time just to see it - so how do the other birds know it's there?

Hey Myky50, any shot is a good shot. Well done. I enjoy looking at the photos of birds here not for the quality of photo sometimes it just to hard to get that perfect shot.
Well done Myky I saw quite a few BOPs on my trip but am useless at identifying them mostly. I only know BLack Shouldered Kites and white bellieed sea eagles with any surety! But I am determined to learn and enlarge that list.

you would know this one birdie it is huge (wingspan up to 1.3 metres)& it's tail
The Peregrine Falcon always seems to have it's tail fanned out too but it's round and it's not as big
