I've found that if I sit still red-capped robins will come quite close. In fact, one circled me at fairly close range for about half an hour. What have others experienced with this species?

Very nice. A gorgeous bird and you've captured the reds very well.

@Woko  I have found them to be very co-operative. Their Flame Robin cousins are not as co-operative as I found at Woodlands Historic Park last Wednesday. They frustrated the hell out of me and I went home empty handed.sad
