I believe either a Brown or Mangrove Gerygone and am leaning toward Brown because it has more colour on the face

Thanks Peter. This forum is great for people like myself, who think they will identify easily as soon as they look at a book - but! Now that you have pointed me in the right direction, I'm looking at the eye-ring on the Mangrove Gerygone in Simpson and Day, and thinking it looks a lot like the photo?

It is indeed! We were at that moment looking still at S&D and deciding it was in fact a Large-billed! We might learn yet.
