Juvenile Eastern Whipbird

Sometimes you simply have to admit, a bad photo is better than none.

I have been trying to get photos of the Eastern Whipbirds next door for a very long time. They are so elusive, I can always hear them, but only saw them very briefly foraging under dense shrubs. So, here is all I got today. A juvenile, and I almost got a photo of the parents. They are not that sharp, but to me that was a very happy day, I finally got some photos.
