O happy day, I saw a bird in my garden, that I have never seen before. I had just started my cooking when I saw it.Those red eyes reflected in the bright sun. I picked up my camera and rushed outside. No time to pay any attention to settings or anything else, the bird would have been gone by then. I do hope it will come back, so I get a chance to take some better photos.
I also noticed the Brown-headed Honeyeater in the bath. At the moment there are large flocks of about 50 in my tall trees every night, and also flocks of Yellow-faced Honeyeaters. Some come down to have a drink. Hope you get as excited about my first sighting of the White-naped as I am, enjoy.
Simply magnificent, the bird and the photos. Thanks
