Clever, I like what you've done. How did you do that?

The brilliance of Photoshop. I normally don't like to use photoshop on my bird photos but this 3D effect I thought would be more effective then a normal zoom and crop.

I don't have Photoshop anymore. I do have Lightroom but don't think I can do that with it. My photoshop wouldn't work when I upgraded my computer to Win7 and don't like that Adobe now makes you pay a monthly fee to access the program. I'd much rather buy it outright but don't have the funds to pay for a full copy of the latest version. Oh well.

Photoshop is amazing. It would take me a lifetime to learn even half of the fantastic things it can do . I have a old copy photoshop 7 and I use to do a lot of playing around on it with the kids photos I took of them growing up. My favourite tool would have to be the clone tool. Unfortunately I don't get the time now to play around with effects and the kids are grown up and most of my time now is taken up with. ..... Yes you guessed it BIRDS. !

I have CS3 which is probably an even older copy? Lightroom4 is great and I enjoy using that. I went to a course last November and Lightroom was covered in it - purely an introductory session but was enough to make me want to go out and buy it.

I actually have CS3 on my old computer, it is better than 7 but I am like you i can't get that off that particular computer, anyways I am use to 7. I would love to explore other programs it is just finding the time and they are very expensive. I will definatley have a look at Lightroom, do you use it alot on you bird photos ?

Kathie - if you do a TAFE couse (and get a student ID card) you can buy the SE (student edition); check the figures and think about this option

Now I know why I don't (have) use photoshop The original is still better There is much more feather detail in No1, the only difference ,No2 is a bit brighter.
In my opinion, people get carried away by too much whiz bang technology, my aim is to take better photos in the first place, or try harder next time.

I like the first one too. I'm not too worried about not having it. Really don't have time for a course at the moment but something to consider later on.
