I agree with Araminta, Peter. The flame robin's range doesn't extend nearly as far west as the Dryandra Woodlands, reaching about as far as the Fleurieu Peninsula in SA although that may have changed. I've only seen one here on the eastern extremity of the Fleurieu Peninsula in about about 10 years.
thanks, I had it in a Scarlet Robin folder and then the grey back got me thinking. I should just have read the guide - hen is brown in the east and grey in the west
