Great photos - is that the wetlands near Queanbeyan? - if so I must go and have a look. Diane
Thanks, George. Now i just need a Wedge Tail to let me get close
Thanks, Diane. Jerrabomberra Wetlands are located on Dairy rd, across the road of the Fyshwick Sewage Works.
We need minor flooding for the wetlands to fill up, but there are plenty of raptors around.
Black Shoulder Kite, Whistling Kite, Nankeen Kestral, Swamp Harrier, Brown Falcon, WB Sea eagle and Little Eagle get seen here often, and lots of other birds around the area. It is worth many regular visits.
The sewage works are closed to the public due to construction works but you can see 1 pond from the road. The other day i counted over 60 Pink Eared Ducks there.

Fantastic pictures shorty!! :)
I was just thinking today what a useful tool the Force would be for gently moving branches out of the way. :)
*waves hand* These are not the branches I am looking for.
Thanks, Windshear. Yes it would be nice to be able to get rid of branches( can be done in PS but time consuming)
Got a Peregrine Falcon this morning at Jerra wetlands.
