Went to the wetlands today looking for Raptors, i went to a tree they are found at a lot by me but nothing, no sign of them.
I had started to leave the area when i heard the whistle, so i quickly (but quietly) went back to the tree and got these.

A Currawong came and landed in the tree above the Kite and straight away the Kite started whistling untill his mate turned up. I thought he was going to share the meal but nope he ate it all while his mate watched his back.

Such magnificent birds. Love your photos as always Shorty. First and third do it particularly for me. Great narrative as well.
Thanks, Dale.

Wonderful photos shorty!
I wish that the raptors around here would let me get some photos
Thanks, Elsie. I have discovered their nest in a tree very close to this one, i guess that is why they come to this tree so much.
