Common Bronzewing

Recently I have been having a visit from this beautiful Common Bronzewing. I was surprised to see just how brown they are under their wings . Thus I don't think that's why they are called a Bronzewing, I think it is in reference to the metallic sheer on their wings in certain light . But still interesting. I love the second photo i took of it ruffling it's feather reminds me of those female spanish dresses.

Excellent shots. I saw my first Bronzewing a few weeks ago but my shots did not come out wellfrown
