Ok for about 2 minutes I had a visitor in my garden today. This visitor probably comes more than I know , I guess you just need to be outside at the right time to see it there. Can't say for sure whether it is a Collared Sparrowhawk or a Goshawk as it is hard to tell the difference . But it is super cool to have one in your backyard ( even if it was for only a couple of minutes).
You lucky duck you! Great capture shoop! Just looking in my bird book & boy do I see what you mean, that is a tricky one to ID...pretty sure someone will be along soon who's more knowledgeable than me. Either way, you're right, it doesn't matter. Beautiful beautiful bird.

Wow, you sure are lucky to have a visitor like this,Shoop.
I would say it is a Collared Sparrowhawk, the very long middle toe being the indicator. But to be sure put these shots in the ID section to get confirmation.

Agree, long middle toe is sparrowhawk
Thanks guys I was guessing the same , as I have read about the middle toe before . They say too about their expression but in these photos it is hard to judge that as I could only get it from shooting underneath and also it's 2 minutes presents.
