It had been a few years since I had a good magpie swooping and thankfully all my local magpies are fine with us walking by thir nesting tree's but my gosh the guy at my mums property is out for blood!! no place is safe be you under a tree far away on the other side of the property or bottom of the stairs so you could imagine what it's like out on the fields tending to the horses and fences. Already sent my sister to the doctors and a bump on my nogging while we were getting the front gate. here are some pictures from my latest adventure while at the botom of the stairs to the house including mums new form of protection..
They're ferocious fearless defenders of nests & chicks aren't they cassie! I grew up in S.A. and I still remember walking to school with an empty icecream bucket on my head I love them, they're a wonderful bird, when they're not trying to take someone out that is, I don't see enough of them here in Tas. Love your mum's protector brolly!
