striped pardalote nesting

I discovered these little pardalotes nesting in a hollow tree branch this morning.  Took a few photos (ha).  They are fascinating little birds and we had a pair of spotted pardalotes nest in our compost last year, so we could not touch the compost for ages until they left.  I did see them back a few months ago but I think they found the task too daunting. When the babies flew out I felt like I had given birth, I was so excited.   They move like greased lightening, so catching them in flight is very difficult.

On another note, can anyone tell me about wattle bird nesting.  I posted photos of the little wattle bird last week and I notice that they are sitting on the nest again.  Would it be the same pair, it is in the same area and the little one is now flying.  Is this normal.

Wow, these photos are stunning!!!!!

Can't tell you about Wattlebirds, but if you remenber last year, after the Wrens lost their babies, only a few days later she sat on eggs again.
