Boobook for a day

I was very lucky to have a delightful visitor the other day in my backyard, would have had no idea he/she was there if it wasn't for the noisy flock of Singing Honeyeaters. It was hard not to take stacks of photos of him/her. Him/her really didn't seem bothered as there was lots of yawning, sleeping and preening to do all day long. Once the sun started to go down then it was time for this beauty to fly off , was hoping for a return visit but it hasn't happen yet . Feel extremely fortunate to have a spent a full day together.yesheartsmiley

Jealous jealous!  smiley  What a sensational visitor shoop!  I bet not much else got done around home that day, lol, at least if it was my backyard that would have been the case - sooo worth it though.   I looove these shots so much.  You've caught so much character and personality in them.  Am I going overboard?  So sorry, I can't help it, blush Boobooks have to be one of my favs and these are just beautiful shots.

Fabulous shots shoop! Look at those big beautiful eyes - just gorgeous. What a fabulous experience.

I got lucky once running a workshop - we had a break for morning tea, walked outside and there was a boobook sitting in a fig tree. Perfect timing.
