It's late, I'm tired but can't sleep, and I'm looking at this shot going, wow I love it, what a gorgeous bird, great shot, what's different about it, what double entendre?  Penny drops.  A painted Painted Snipe.  Duh to me.  Who's a clever pants then Shorty!  laugh

I love the effect... effect being the key word. wink One would be very lucky to see this bird... I've only seen it once.

This fellow has been here for 2 weeks now and i see him every time i go to the wetlands and i go there every daysmiley

He hasn't come close enough to get a good shot.
