He looked very happy and content,he was very alert,checking out the whole park around him,took a few shots to capture a nice pose.As I walked away,I caught movement out the corner of my eye,mum was watching me.
This year while I've been more observant about bird behaviour, I've noticed that the Kookaburras, and Pacific Bazas and Flycatchers I've observed feeding usually land in a tree a little distance from their nest/young, sit around for a bit, checking for dangers, and people with cameras, before going in to feed. Clever little cookies.

He looks very young. His beak is just tiny. I had some last year, but when I saw them their beaks looked a lot bigger.
