I have been interested in photography since getting my first camera in 1950, (that dates me doesn't it?) and have always loved bird life. Although I have been a professional in a couple of fields in the past, I still class myself as an enthusiastic amateur,and find small birds a most challenging subject. This is one of my latest shots. I use Nikon D90 and 300mm lens mostly.
Haha, as a Sony girl myself, I think I can cope with someone using a Nikon
, if the photos are that good.

Thanks for that Araminta, I do have a Sony hx300 as well but the focus tends to be a bit hit and miss sometimes on long zoom.
