I'm pretty sure this is a female Red-capped Plover but I'd love confirmation!
I had just previously photographed a male about 200m up the beach. Both birds were by themselves.

Yeah it does look like the ones in the other photo I uploaded. Only difference was that it was by itself. Thanks.
So I've been going back and forth between these photos and the group of Double-banded plovers that I took here: http://www.birdsinbackyards.net/forum/Double-banded-plovers
The bird above has a really big white triangle forehead, which doesn't seem to exist in the photo I took of the other group. Could this just be a different age and/or sex or could this be a different species?
It was found in a completely different area from the group and it was by itself.
