I saw this bird first in March of this year when I only had my phone on hand and then once again a few weeks after with nothing handy, then nothing until I looked out the door at 6:30am today, this time I braved the cold and headed out with my camera and took a few shots.. s/he was nice enough to turn around at one stage to show off both sides 
The bird is a pied very common in domestic pigeons I have heard of them in crested pigeons but this is the first photo I have seen ,nice catch.
6.30am its still dark at my place or thats what I tell myself when I roll over and pull the covers tighter around me ,boy its cold here !
