Southern Scrub-robin. One of the mallee's most inquistive, quirky, surpirisingly eye-catching and entertaining birds. It has a rich, memorable call too. Lovely shot, mate. Lorne

Thanks Lorne, maybe you can help with this one as wellsmiley Was taken in the Gawler Ranges National Park a couple of days ago. Light was not good and it was a fair way away. Is it a Richards Pipit?

You really do get some great shots ,I have been trying to get a pipit up out of the grass shot for weeks ,well done nice photo !

Sparrow, Nikon 300f4 with nikon 1.4 tc. Does produce beautiful bokeh.

A 300mm lens with a 1.4TC. Does that equate to the equivalent of having a 420mm lens?

Yes, on a full frame sensor. Goes from 300mm/F4 to 420mm/F5.6
