(wwww.raptorrefuge.com.au) relation to predation of sheep and lambs affected by Rye Grass Poisoning, by Wedge Tailed Eagles, and the tactics used to "train" the eagles not take lambs (largely by scare tactics), but it also shows how some farmers can be sympathetic to the wildlife cause. Interestingly enough, the last paragraph says there is no evidence of secondary poisoning to WTE. I guess each poison has potential to affect different species in different ways.
Nick Mooney is a former employee of DIPWE (the Tas Govt. department, which includes parks and wildlife). Locally is is known to be a wildlife expert, and specialises in Raptors, including rescue and rehab).
