 I'll have to look that one up Windshear.

Anthropomorphising..is to ascribe human form or attributes to (an animal, plant, material object, etc.).  How true. A perfect word to describe the look of some birds, especially some of the larger birds of prey. It also strikes me as being unceremonious, efficient and brusque. Thanks for commenting.

Cool - I've never noticed th eyebrow ridges before. 

I guess they'd help keep the sun out of his/her eyes while spotting prey on the ground.
