No wonder lawyers are despised by so many.
There was once a legal action that failed against hornsby council. The judge ruled I think that a council can't be held responsible for the actions of all wild animals. There are lots of magpie attacks each year, it would be hard for councils to have to control the birds in their area.

The woman deserves some sympathy for her predicament but suing the council????!!! Sometimes life deals us a crook hand but we have to make the most if it. Nobody said life is fair. As that great Roman statesman, whose name I forget, once said: "Excretum eventuate."
