Just catching up on some editing/identification. All were taken about two months ago.
Horsfield's Bronze Cuckoo? Eyre Peninsula, West of Whyalla.
Juvenile Singing Honeyeater? Eyre Peninsula,West of Whyalla.
Stubble or Brown Quail, Arno Bay, Eyre Peninsula.
Yep thats a Horsefields.
I think the second is a female Brown Songlark.
The last one looks to me like a Brown Quail?
Can anyone comfirm those?
Yep Brown Quail.
I'm wondering if the second is a Rufous Songlark & the third a Stubble Quail. West of Whyalla seems to be outside the Brown Quail's range.
I agree with Brown Quail as it has horizontal barrs on the underside where as the Stubble has vertical barring. The Stubble also has a distinct white eyebrow.

It is a Brown Quail, look at images of both quails and you will see a big difference. As for the range, I don't know. The third might be a Rufous Songlark but I still think it's a Brown Songlark.
I agree with Tim on the Cuckoo and the Quail however I believe it is a Rufous Songlark
HB Cuckoo. Brown Quail. Rufous Songlark. LJ
Thanks everyone for your help.
Post that Brown Quail on eremaea birds if you have an account because that quail is out of range.
Tim,
I thought the same which made me unsure if it was a BQ.
Pizzey & Knight PC version shows out of range, but book shows just in range.
Life is full of uncertainty.
reminds of NightParrot regularly saying that birds don't read the guides

And there aren't enough birders in Australia to really sort out exactly where a bird's habitat definitely starts and finishes. The guides estimate things I reckon. LJ
