Yes, I have seen a number of Yellow-tufted and don't think it was one of those. It was on a small reserve near Pittsworth so maybe in a few months I'll get back up there. It does bear similarities to the pictures you have includes. Thanks to both of you, will wait and see if further comments
Looks like a Yellow Honeyeater.
Toowoomba, is a long way out of range, but one was recently photograhed on Bribie Island.
it could be Yellow-tufted Honeyeater, race cassidix, whose range extends into Qld
the pic of the head is not good enough to exclude
I heard about the Bribie Is sighting of Yellow HE but did not see the pic
