I've got a few ID's I like some confirmation on. They're all from Cunjurong Point which is on the NSW South Coast. My guesses are as follows and they all happen to have "yellow" in them.
1. young Eastern Yellow Robins
2. Yellow Thornbill
3. Yellow-faced Honeyeater
Thanks
Chad
I suggest
#1 - Yellow Thornbill
#2 - Striated Thornbill
#3 - Yellow-faced HE
Peter
I think #2 is a Brown Thornbill.
Striated have more heavy streaking on the crown & ear coverts, also I think rump colour on this bird is a better fit for Brown Thornbill.
Thanks Peter and Steve. I've been doing some reading on the Thornbills and agree Bird #1 is likely to be a Yellow Thornbill. However I still can't make my mind up about bird #2. I've attached a couple more photos of the same bird and hope they might contain some more clues.

My ID was hurried whilst at work (gotta stop doing that) and have to agree with Steve - Brown Thornbill
