For my 15th birthday last month I went for a trip around Richmond. I saw 3 new birds: A few Latham's Snipe, a flock of Glossy Ibis and a flock of Banded Lapwings bringing my life list to 236 birds!

Good collection of photos and sightings Tim. There's five birds there that I'm really keen to see (and photograph hopefully) Pacific Baza, Swamp harrier, Golden Headed Cisticola, Little Black Cormorant and a Banded Lapwing.
Samford Valley Qld.
Nice shots Tim.
I didn't pick you as 15, how do you have so many birds on your life list already?
Good on you for picking it up so early, I'm teaching my eldest who is 11 but can't afford really good equipment for him yet.
I only have 167 birds on my life list, but then again I only count them if I get a recognisable photo of them, haven't been outside of SE QLD and only started August 2014. So I'm not doing too bad. I wish I had gotten into it at your age.
The banded Lapwing & Swamp Harrier would be lifers for me.
Great pics, keep em coming.
Cheers

Thanks guys. Yep Peter it was the Cornwallis turf farm. Devster I started when I was 10 although ive only become really interested in it about 2 years ago. You have a great amount of sighting for less than a year though. It is a great hobby!
