gday mrtattoo.
this rosella has mutated colours, it must have escaped from someone's aviary. i have never seen anything like it before.
it looks juvenile and also partly albino because of whitish patches and weird washed out red eye.
Cheers, Owen.
it could be just a wierd wild bird though. it doesn't have to be an escapee.
Cheers, Owen.
yeah it sure is a wild lookin thing. thanks for your thoughts.
if your happy when your birding, flap your wings.
Hi,it's a "lutino" which a colour mutation and is fairly common aviaries, they do sometimes occur in the wild.
right, great, thanks for the heads up. my first thoughts were that it may of come from an aviary, but you never know what your gunna see out there ay?

Mate that is a beautiful rosella. The only problem is they dont last long in the wild looking like that. Hawks usually eat them for lunch. Have you seen it since ? Would love to contact you about it. You can get me at
