Hi everyone these are just a few off the recent photos I have taken. Please correct me with any naming issues and I dont know the names off 2 off them, I am fairly clueless when it comes to birds this being 1 of the reasons of my joinig this site so I can increase my knowledge level.
Thanks in advance hope you like them
Great set and welcome
Really like that Kookaburra photo
Dont take life too seriously, it never ends well
Thanks very much for posting these lovely photos - hope we will see many more. I like your flight shots of the osprey and kite - and that rosella coming in to land is a beauty.
For your two unknowns ...
#4 is a Pied Cormorant
#6 is a young Pied Butcherbird
Thanks for sharing, love the Osprey and Brahminy Kite (oops, not Eagle did not look closely enough. Thanks Rick). Hope to see more from your area

Cheers Murray
Terrific shots, welcome and look forward to seeing plenty more.
Hi Murray
thanks for the comments, I use a canon 7D most of the shots are taken with a 300mm F4 L lens. I nearly use apeture priority mode exclusivly to control depth of feild and keep an eye on shutter speed tring to maintain around 1/1000th sec if im looking to freeze action
