My Mudlarks have some hatchlings

Well, it's been exactly 18 days, and the eggs have hatched.

I suspected as much when I got home from work yesterday.  I heard the pair sounding rather excited, and went out to see them both at the nest in a quite agitated state.  Since then their trips back and forth to the nest have become much more frequent.

Today I was able to get a few shots of them feeding their young, but I have no idea many yet. Hopefully by next weekend I'll able to see some little heads poking above the edge of the nest.

Cheers, Denis.

Congratulations !

You are getting a great photographic record of their progression.
