Its been a little while since I have posted some photos of my favouritle litte bird the Forrest Kingfisher.
I see him every day at work and now he has a little mate that joins him.
Although she is a lot more timid than he is.
I have a photo with his favourite food, Dragonflies.
The last photo is the best I have of him flying, but I am working on it.

He is a lovely little fellow - looks like he has a lot of character!
They are very swift in flight - i have seen the sacred and azure in flight and they are just a flash of colour and they are gone - so you have done very well to catch him.
Lovely photos of a sweet little bird. :) Always better with the story behind it too.
