Todays BOP

Need some help with some birds of prey from a wetland visit today to Barker Wetlands, Adelaide.

Will put my best guesses see if I'm getting any bettersmiley

1) Juvenile Swamp Harrier x3

2) Peregrine Falcon x2

3) Swamp Harrier x2

Swamp Harrier - I use the white band across the tail as the main identifier

Peregrine Falcon - I can't help as this is my bogey bird

Peregrine Falcon as your bogey bird, Pacman! You poor bugger. They're such stunning things. If you're in suitable sandstone gorge country, check the cliff-faces for guano, and Peregrines! Also, listen for the alarm cries of Noisy Miners in big east coast cities - they may give away the prescence of Peregrines. Lorne

yes, I have been on a couple of 'you can't miss them' walks to no avail and I have listed a Grey Falcon

At my workplace (tall building) in the city there is a resident pair of Peregrines and I am often treated to the sight of them tearing into prey (usually feral Rock Doves but on occasion Spotted Doves, Starlings and Rainbow Lorikeets) just out the window.
