Mount Glorious bird

I'm sorry this is so vague! A couple of weeks ago I went for a short walk in Maiala National Park - just off Mount Glorious Road in QLD. It was near sunset and there were lots of birds calling, but one in particular caught my attention because it was pretty unique and despite extensive google/youtube searching I can't find it.

I didn't see it, and I heard it calling but didn't record it, so it's quite a tricky request, but this is my last resort!

The closest I can describe it is a kind of "Woo...BOOOM". It was quite deep - at the time I said to my partner that it kind of sounded how you'd imagine a giant, giant pigeon to sound!

Any suggestions very welcome, thank you :)

A Wompoo Fruit-Dove makes a 'wom ... poo' noise; it is deep but not loud unless you were almost directly underneath

Fourleafclover, I've never heard a Wompoo pigeon so had to have a dig around. Here's some recordings of a Wompoo Pigeon. Is this anything like what you heard?

I too agree that it is most likely a Womoo Fruit Dove.

The have a deep "Wom-Poo" call and are very common in the Mt Glorious area.

Here is one I got up there just a few weeks ago.
