Rufous & Jacky?

Help needed please, I think first bird is female Rufous Whistler

and second is Jacky Winter but unsure. Thanks

I think the first is a Grey Shrike Thrush - http://www.graemechapman.com.au/library/viewphotos.php?c=469&pg=1

Im no expert as I only saw my first GST a few days ago - its quite a bit bigger than the whistler.

Thanks for that. I had only seen male GST before this and didn't realise they were so different.

The first is a juvenile Grey Shrike-thrush, I think.

Thanks Woko, the bird was quite small compared to an adult which made me guess rufous whistler.
