So I decided to dust off my camera after I missed the opportunity to photograph a spectacular eagle (wedge tailed I think?) over our place this morning and low and behold... I spotted this fellow in the tree by my front gate. Can anyone tell me what this is please? Moore River WA.
Black-faced Cuckoo-shrike
Thanks so much Owl :)

Earthchild, the tree the Black-faced Cuckooshrike is perched in looks like Eucalyptus cassia. Is this species indigenous to the Moore River area?
I'm actually unsure Woko. Will do some research and post shortly if I find out.

Yep, it is native to this region. :)
Actually one of my favorite "gumnuts" too.

Typo. I should have typed caesia, not cassia.
