Hendo, I couldn't see anything remotely like it in Pizzey's A Field Guide to the Birds of Australia so I presume it's another of those potentially destructive exotic escapees.
That is a Port Lincoln Parrot(Australian Ringneck Subspecies). I dont think it has been recorded there before so I think you should post it on Eremaea.
Oops! My mistake. Morcombe's Field Guide to Australian Birds would suggest this is an Australian Ringneck. Its presence in Mt Isa indicates that it would be the subspecies macgillivrayi, commonly known as the Cloncurry Parrot.

Does have the colouring of the Cloncurry Parrot Barnardius zonarius macgillivrayi
but with something else thrown.
Maybe its a hybrid and its an escapee?
