Is it a Jacky Winter?

Jacky Winter looks good. Can't think of anything else.

It looks like a jacky winter to me toosmiley If you look at it's tail you can see the black and white barring.

Not a Jacky Winter, they have dark lores, pale eyebrow & bill is too thick(top to bottom).

Looks like some sort of Whistler female to me, but don't know which one?

Definitely not Rufous Whistler: they have a "relatively long tail with a square or slightly forked tip." Also the female has streaked underparts while " young birds are much redder than adults and have heavily streaked underparts.."

If it were a female/young Golden Whistler then they normally have yellow undertail coverts (and other distinctive features) where this bird does not. This rules out Golden/Rufous Whistlers.

Thanks all, I'm thinking Gilberts maybe, not a Jacky.

my Gilberts Whistler hen pic - your bird looks more robin-like, beak looks finer than whistler, but the colour is darked than Jacky Winters that I have seen
