I wondered why you had no replies yet, i have to say that for some reason (maybe too many pics) it took forever to load your post.

But it was worth the wait, great pics of them in breeding plumage.

 It's actually a tiny little island in the middle of someones garden lake here in Samford and they are sort of "used to people"  to a degree.
