TASMANIAN SCRUBTIT OR SCRUBWREN?

Going back through photos and just thought I would check on the identification of this one. Taken near Ben Lommond.

I would say Tas Scrubwren as the body is darker, is bigger and does not have the eye-ring of the Scrubtit; but lets see what the Tassie locals say

I'm not a Tassie local but I agree with Tas Scrubwren adult with juvenile/immature, due to the yellow eye (and previous reasons).

Also agree Scrubwren, as per the other commets. Happily Tasmanian, sadly not an expert, hopefully Annie will be along shortly. Edited for correction to agree, happy to be wrong.

Ha, yes I was waiting for Annie as well....she is very good. Dale, not sure what you meant? You agreed with the others but then said it was the other. I think it is a Scrubwren but it did look a little different so thought I would just check

Sorry shore.rob, my typo have now edited to reflect what I meant to say the first time.

Definitely Immature/Juv Tas Scrubwren, you can just see that his/her white facial markings are coming through from behind the beak (the mo I call it laugh), but no eyebrows yet + definite markings/colouration of Scrubwren although muted as in all Juvs.  You can also see Dad Scrubwren in the background keeping an eye on the younster wink.
