I saw this one at Coolart Wetlands today. The face is not completely black yet (?) , that makes me think it's still an immature bird ?
I love the reflection in the eye.

I remember my dear late aunt, a bird lover, used to call these birds "boofcus" for short. Maybe its a common term amongst twitchers.
