Much needed rain over the last few days has given the gardens a lift ,so a late afternoon visit to Mount Lofty a couple of days ago seemed a good idea.
Though wet and misty, the birds were quite active, with Eastern Spinebills and Silvereyes feeding on the various flowering plants.
Found a dryish spot under a sheltering tree and spent a nice hour watching the comings and goings.

Lots of great photos again as usual Rick. Excellent shot of the spinebill and the flowers.
Not sure if those SFWs are cuddling or trying to push each other off that perch!
Lovely photos! I really like that one of the silvereye, it looks so soft and cuddly
Thanks for sharing!
Wonderful pictures. And I also enjoyed the account of what sounded like a delightful hour's watching.
Colour me a little bit green!
Lovely photos Rick.
I do wish I could get more. You seem to get out a bit, lucky you and you produce some lively shots.
Love the names of the birds as well, thanks for that.
Had never heard of a Singing Honeyeater before.
