Down South

A recent trip to Mount Gambier for a dive had us staying at Glencoe, a small village about 20klm from the Mount.

Surrounded by farmland and pine forests I was surprised at the amount of native bird life on offer as well as a couple of introduced species.

Various Honeyeaters, Ducks and Finches made for an interesting couple of hours in the mornings watching the usual squabbles over territory.

Some unusual birds there. Well for me anyway. SA seems to have a stunning variety of birds.
