Eurobodalla Botanic Gardens

I was at the coast last month and visited the Eurobodall gardens just south of Batemans Bay. Some birds I saw...

Nice Variety of Birds. I'm yet to get a Bassian Thrush, I thought I had one but it turned out to be a Russet Tailed Thrush instead.

Lovely set of photos of a healthy variety of birds. The Bassian Thrush sure does blend in smiley

Thanks everyone. The Bassian Thrush was the first that I remember seeing in many years of watching.  It stood very still a lot of the time and does blend into its surroundings - I guess especially for predators without colour vision.   I was surprised by the Black Cockatoo feeding on the ground (ripping apart a tree trunk) - was able to get fairly close without it flying away. Very overcast, dull day so the lighting isn't the best.

My memory of my last visit there was a leech that drained a litre of blood from me surprise
