I'll third that. Also, when they are on the ground eating they have a habit of sitting on their bellies. That's what it looks like anyway. Then they stand up and run/walk further along. I've seen red-rumped parrots do this here in Tenterfield. No other parrots in my area does this "belly sitting" when on the ground. Only one other bird species has done this in town but I can't identify that bird species.
