Got a new tick on Sunday and was able to sit just 3 metres from it for over an hour watching it going about it's business, awesome experience.

It was at Campbell Park, the Summer migrants have started to arrive there and lots of birds nesting and the Owlet Nightjar has moved into the hollow she had the young in last year so fingers crossed.

I thought I saw some sort of quail here once a couple of years ago by the creek. Is it just me or is your first pic, rawshorty, a female and she's going to be laying eggs very, very soon?
