This is a photograph taken by a friend who has been unable to identify the bird. My bird book and bird apps have been no help to me either.
The photo was taken a few weeks ago at the Cumberland Mine lagoon west of Georgetown in Qld.

White-winged Triller with some yellow stuff(perhaps pollen) on it's crown.
Thank you SteveM! I guess it was the yellow 'stuff' that threw me. It never occurred to me that it wasn't part of the plumage.
